Twitter Tip #8

Find your twitter grade with this useful tool - http://twitter.grader.com/

Enter your username and click Grade.

First you'll see your rank and grade. You'll want your rank to go down and your grade of course to go up.

A nice link allows you to find fellow tweeters in your state and country (hint -- a good place to look for followers).

Your tweet cloud highlights keywords you use a lot in your tweets - use more of your keywords to change this.

Enjoy your Weds.

Twitter tips #7

Just a reminder that you want to make a schedule for when you unfollow folks. I usually try to give them the benefit of the doubt and wait a week or so.

By now hopefully you have a few followers and are getting the hang of things. Now it is decision time. Do you want to use a laser approach or the shotgun approach.

Using the shotgun approach you get as many followers as possible, with no regard if they fit in your target market. The laser approach is when you only want to have followers that are potential customers for you. The big difference is that when doing the laser approach you only want to target prospective buyers. The 'best' way to do this is find get sources that target your market and then review who is following them. Right now it is much easier to use the shot gun approach. Because there are so many people that follow everyone and not just who interests them. But if you work hard the laser approach can work.

Enjoy your Tuesday. Tomorrow we'll talk about finding your twitter grade.
